What if you never found someone?
What if you were stuck in a bad relationship?
What if your boyfriend/girlfriend cheated on you?
What if he never proposed?
What if your spouse left you?
What if you couldn’t have a child?
What if you weren’t ready to have a baby?
What if your spouse died?
What if your parent died?
What if you had a bad childhood?
What if nobody believed what you told them?
What if you had a bad adulthood?
What if you lost your child?
What if you lost your job?
What if you couldn’t find a job?
What if you couldn’t afford school?
What if you had a terrible job?
What if you had to move?
What if you had to sell your house?
What if you lived in a dump?
What if you lived in a mansion?
What if you got a bad report from the Dr.?
What if you didn’t know how you would pay the bills this time?
What if your car was in the shop?
What if you lived in a hostile environment?
What if you cried one day?
What if you found out your things aren’t impressive?
What if you found out your value isn’t in things?
What if your value isn’t in what you look like or how much money you make?
What if your value isn’t in what you do for a job?
What if the thing you feared most happened?
What if the thing you feared most happened and you survived?
What if the only thing you had were tears?
What if when you were hanging on by a thread you heard, “Let go”?
What if everyone left you?
What if God meant what He said?
What if when He created the world it was good?
What if the reason you were here was simply because He wanted you?
What if He meant the only thing you had to give was your heart?
What if you had to trade the pleasures of this world for His presence?
What if when we doubt our abilities and see imperfection He meant that His grace was sufficient?
What if He didn’t care about what you could or couldn’t do?
What if you never did anything great?
What if you found out the comforts of this world are actually shackles?
What if He meant to leave the world behind and follow Him?
What if you didn’t need your vices?
What if you had to give up everything you knew?
What if you found the life you always wanted?
What if you let go of all your idols?
What if God smashed all your idols so you wouldn’t go back to them just to keep you?
What if everything He said was true?
What if He meant He wanted your mess?
What if He meant He wanted to spend eternity with you?
What if He meant you could trust Him?
What if He meant He would never leave nor forsake you?
What if He meant that when we had trouble in this life He would be there?
What if He meant death was defeated at the cross?
What if He said “It is finished” He really meant the battle really was finished?
What if He won?
What if He meant when the world leaves you and your friends leave you He would be there?
What if while walking down the road with a heavy cross on His back He thought of you?
What if He died for you?
What if He really was the Prince of Peace?
What if He rose again and sent His spirit, the comforter?

What if He meant it?
“And He is jealous for me.
Love’s like a hurricane, I am a tree bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory.
And I realize just how beautiful You are and how great Your affections are for me.
And we are His portion and He is our prize drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes.
If His grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking.
And Heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss,
And my heart turns violently inside of my chest.
I don’t have time to maintain these regrets
When I think about the way…
