“You’re one decision away from a different life…”
“The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.” – Psalm 34:18

This isn’t my picture, but saw it a few years ago and saved it ever since. I wish I could give credit to the author. This describes perfectly how I got saved.
“I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”
– Psalm 34:4
I cried out to Jesus one night and He heard me….and delivered me. That is my testimony.
He is ever faithful to me even when my flesh flares up.
He is ever faithful when I doubt.
WHO HATH BELIEVED OUR REPORT? AND TO WHOM IS THE ARM OF THE LORD REVEALED?
FOR HE SHALL GROW UP BEFORE HIM AS A TENDER PLANT, AND AS A ROOT OUT OF A DRY GROUND: HE HATH NO FORM NOR COMELINESS; AND WHEN WE SHALL SEE HIM, THERE IS NO BEAUTY THAT WE SHOULD DESIRE HIM.
HE IS DESPISED AND REJECTED OF MEN; A MAN OF SORROWS, AND ACQUAINTED WITH GRIEF: AND WE HID AS IT WERE OUR FACES FROM HIM; HE WAS DESPISED, AND WE ESTEEMED HIM NOT.
SURELY HE HATH BORNE OUR GRIEFS, AND CARRIED OUR SORROWS: YET WE DID ESTEEM HIM STRICKEN, SMITTEN OF GOD, AND AFFLICTED. BUT HE WAS WOUNDED FOR OUR TRANSGRESSIONS, HE WAS BRUISED FOR OUR INIQUITIES: THE CHASTISEMENT OF OUR PEACE WAS UPON HIM; AND WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED.
ALL WE LIKE SHEEP HAVE GONE ASTRAY; WE HAVE TURNED EVERY ONE TO HIS OWN WAY; AND THE LORD HATH LAID ON HIM THE INIQUITY OF US ALL. HE WAS OPPRESSED, AND HE WAS AFFLICTED, YET HE OPENED NOT HIS MOUTH: HE IS BROUGHT AS A LAMB TO THE SLAUGHTER, AND AS A SHEEP BEFORE HER SHEARERS IS DUMB, SO HE OPENETH NOT HIS MOUTH.
HE WAS TAKEN FROM PRISON AND FROM JUDGMENT: AND WHO SHALL DECLARE HIS GENERATION? FOR HE WAS CUT OFF OUT OF THE LAND OF THE LIVING: FOR THE TRANSGRESSION OF MY PEOPLE WAS HE STRICKEN.
AND HE MADE HIS GRAVE WITH THE WICKED, AND WITH THE RICH IN HIS DEATH; BECAUSE HE HAD DONE NO VIOLENCE, NEITHER WAS ANY DECEIT IN HIS MOUTH.
YET IT PLEASED THE LORD TO BRUISE HIM; HE HATH PUT HIM TO GRIEF: WHEN THOU SHALT MAKE HIS SOUL AN OFFERING FOR SIN, HE SHALL SEE HIS SEED, HE SHALL PROLONG HIS DAYS, AND THE PLEASURE OF THE LORD SHALL PROSPER IN HIS HAND.
HE SHALL SEE OF THE TRAVAIL OF HIS SOUL, AND SHALL BE SATISFIED: BY HIS KNOWLEDGE SHALL MY RIGHTEOUS SERVANT JUSTIFY MANY; FOR HE SHALL BEAR THEIR INIQUITIES.
THEREFORE WILL I DIVIDE HIM A PORTION WITH THE GREAT, AND HE SHALL DIVIDE THE SPOIL WITH THE STRONG; BECAUSE HE HATH POURED OUT HIS SOUL UNTO DEATH: AND HE WAS NUMBERED WITH THE TRANSGRESSORS; AND HE BARE THE SIN OF MANY, AND MADE INTERCESSION FOR THE TRANSGRESSORS.”
-ISAIAH 53
Hope is knowing it will get better. Hope is filled with Grace because Jesus is whispering “Don’t give up. Just hold on. You can make it one more day. I got you. My grace and strength are sufficient for you. I love you. You are not alone.”
It’s the most indescribable love and feeling you could ever know. You don’t understand it until you accept it and you are forever changed.
The game is over after that.
If you are struggling today just keep holding on. There is hope. His name is Jesus and He died for you. He loves you more than anyone ever could or would. He will never leave nor forsake you. His love endures forever. He wants you.
You are not alone.

“They say, ‘Sometimes you win some. Sometimes you lose some’ and right now I’m losing bad.
I’ve stood on this stage night after night reminding the broken it’ll be alright.
But, right now I just can’t.
It’s easy to sing when there’s nothing to bring me down.
But, what will I say when I’m held to the flame like I am right now?
I know You’re able and I know You can save through the fire with Your mighty hand.
But, even if You don’t my hope is You alone.
They say it only takes a little faith to move a mountain.
Good thing…A little faith is all I have right now.
But God, when You choose to leave mountains unmovable give me the strength to be able to sing, ‘It is well with my soul’.
I know You’re able and I know You can save through the fire with Your mighty hand.
But, even if You don’t my hope is You alone.
I know the sorrow and I know the hurt would all go away if You’d just say the word.
But, even if You don’t my hope is You alone.
You’ve been faithful. You’ve been good all of my days.
Jesus, I will cling to You come what may.
I know You’re able and I know You can save through the fire with Your mighty hand.
But, even if You don’t my hope is You alone.
I know the sorrow and I know the hurt would all go away if You’d just say the word.
But, even if You don’t my hope is You alone.
It is well with my soul.”
