It’s easy to get mad at God, isn’t it?
After all He is the One in control. He is the one who knows the end from the beginning. He is the One who has the power to make the blind see and convert a cold stone heart and heal someone from sickness.
But, sometimes He allows heartache. Sometimes, He doesn’t do what we expect Him to do. Sometimes, He does send help and we don’t heed the warnings. Sometimes, He sounds the alarms and we refuse to hear them because we expect Him to answer in another certain way causing our own destruction.
“REMEMBER YE NOT THE FORMER THINGS, NEITHER CONSIDER THE THINGS OF OLD.
BEHOLD, I WILL DO A NEW THING; NOW IT SHALL SPRING FORTH; SHALL YE NOT KNOW IT? I WILL EVEN MAKE A WAY IN THE WILDERNESS, AND RIVERS IN THE DESERT.” – ISAIAH 43:18-19
Sometimes, His answer is simply ‘No’.
We don’t have to understand. He doesn’t ask us to understand, but He asks us to trust Him and have faith like a child. A child is totally dependent on their parents. They trust that they will not harm them and simply go where they lead.
“FROM THAT TIME MANY OF HIS DISCIPLES WENT BACK, AND WALKED NO MORE WITH HIM. THEN SAID JESUS UNTO THE TWELVE, WILL YE ALSO GO AWAY? THEN SIMON PETER ANSWERED HIM, LORD, TO WHOM SHALL WE GO? THOU HAST THE WORDS OF ETERNAL LIFE. AND WE BELIEVE AND ARE SURE THAT THOU ART THAT CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD. ” – JOHN 6:66-69
Maybe nothing is happening TO you, but instead it’s happening FOR you. Maybe what you’re going through is to strengthen you, but it’s not just for you. Maybe it’s a witness to someone else to see how great our God is.
It’s not about us. It’s always about Him.
It’s His world… we are just living in it. ![]()

“AND WE KNOW THAT ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THEM THAT LOVE GOD, TO THEM WHO ARE THE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.” – ROMANS 8:28
Isaiah 41… for the straying heart of a Child of God
Who do they go to in times of trouble? Blessed are you when you are persecuted…
On Friday, April 17, 2020 I lost a great and precious friend after believing and praying for a miracle and healing. These are blogs I wrote about it:
Nothing can steal our joy…
Here is background info on that friend:

“I lived my life for a while asking for signs to believe in…
God played defense in my trial quietly hanging there bleeding
While I cast lots for his robe…While I point my bloody finger…
He pays debts that I owe.
He says “Father, forgive them”.
I used to ask for a sign to believe in, but He never gave me a reason to ever doubt Him.
Give me one reason to doubt He is Messiah…
Give me one reason to doubt He is alive…
Give me one reason to doubt I am the apple of His eye…
Just one reason now…Just one reason to doubt
Jesus Christ
I see the faith of our fathers Abraham, Issac, and Jacob…
They never saw what was promised, but they never once felt forsaken.
Through fire, famine, and sword tribulation and war they never asked for a sign to believe in.
So, tell me how we stand in judgment and ever doubt Him.
Give me one reason to doubt He is Messiah
Give me one reason to doubt He is alive
Give me one reason to doubt I am the apple of His eye
Just one reason now
Just one reason to doubt
Jesus Christ”
