“Every good and perfect gift comes from above…” after 4 years God gave me a car

Middle of the week post.

This is taken from my Facebook page because I don’t really have anything else to add except crying:

“I wanted to make a video, but am a better writer of my thoughts than speaker … plus there will be crying…

I haven’t had a car since September 2016. I’ve always said God took my car away to teach me lessons. People always asked when I would get a car or I could do this … or I could do that.

Instead, I waited. I knew it was between God and me and when an opportunity for a car showed up I would have a car. If God wanted me to have a car He would give me a car. In the meantime I saved my money as if I didn’t have a job.

You learn a lot of things when you wait on God AND you do not have a car. If you want to be humbled I recommend not having your own vehicle, but that’s my opinion.

Anyway, flash forward to now…

Out of nowhere someone offered to help buy me a car. At first I said no, but they stated three people had the idea independently and came together.
“Out of the mouth of three witnesses my word will be established.”
The same week this news happened my neighbor asked if I was interested in buying their old car. A few days later (after the shock of someone offering to help pay for one) my neighbor offered to give me the car. And this car is a Honda Accord… like mine.

To quote one of my favorite gospel songs think Regina Belle said it best :
