The Daily Writing Prompt: 30 Things That Make Me Happy 

These are in no particular order, but whatever pops into my head first.

1. My dog.

2. My husband.

3. Sunflowers

4. Coffee

5. My job and the incredible opportunity it brings. (most days).

6. Talking to Ryan’s grandma on the phone.

7. Hugging my dad.

8. Cooking/Baking 

9. Driving my car.

10. Holy Spirit Happenstances

11. Helping people 

12. Walking through Lowe’s 

13. Cinnamon

14. Sitting in a baby pool on our days off.

15. Sunsets.

16. Driving through Salinas, California

17. Not having to drive through Atlanta (🤣)

18. Home time 

19. Hugs.

20. Getting dressed up. (I think the truck has made me desire to be more feminine and crave girly things.)

21. Making silly videos

22. Putting together photo books and revisiting memories 

23. Going to the garden store 

24. Texting my friends

25. Taking a shower 😂

26. Going on vacation with my husband and seeing new places together.

27. My husband’s organizational skills 

28. Biblical revelations… when you’ve studied and studied and finally He reveals a little puzzle piece in a random place 

29. Feel-good movies 

30. Finally buying the hand-painted chicken at a truck stop in New Mexico.

This list isn’t limited to what I wrote, but it is fascinating to see what automatically popped into my head at the thought of what makes me happy.  It’s truly the little things that mean so much.
