A job isn’t what you do. It’s who you are. I believe wherever God leads you to work you should give your all and do everything to the best of your abilities. I’ve worked in customer service for seven years and have been blessed by all the people (good and bad) God has put in my path along the way. It was there I met my second employer who also happens to have Down’s Syndrome. He has taught me more about life in one year than any amount of time working for someone else ever could. In February 2021, God blessed me with a job I always said I would never do: teacher’s assistant for pre-k. Since then I have moved to work in a nursery caring for infants. It has been one of the best gifts and I am so thankful. Now, I am married to the man God had for me and we are walking into the life He has for us.
