When you have $0 in your bank account, but God covers you…

“What do I write about this weekend?”
It was my students’ last day yesterday and I cried?
After going to Brent’s special olympics practices and special needs baseball games know everyone should experience it for a perspective on life?
Work on the Catholicism vs. bible blog?

There were too many things and so much I could say, but nothing seemed to fit until this morning.
Today’s post is a text to my friend from this morning:

“I just checked my bank account. For the first time I’ve spent no money in a week. I’ve just been too busy and filled up on gas over the weekend. Last week or the week before I gave money to my dad, paid Rene for training, and transferred money to different accounts so I wouldn’t use it.

I check my account today and my balance was the exact amount I got paid from Brent yesterday. I was like wait ?!? That means my balance went to zero.

What I paid at (grocery store) this last Sunday was the exact amount I had in my bank account and not a penny more or penny less and I happened to spend nothing this week. When I went to the dollar store for coffee creamer happened to have cash on a cash only day.

Ommmmmgggggg (line of crying and mind blown emojis)

I’ve had a zero balance all week and the amount I have right now is what I got paid from Brent yesterday.

(Praise hand emoji)”

My life is filled with grace and God’s protection. I have no words for this except to be thankful.

He never stops. Not once. Not for a second. He goes before us and watches behind.

There are so many things I can add, but this story speaks for itself.

“And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.” – John 21:25

My God is powerful, mighty, and doesn’t need help from anyone. He is the Alpha and Omega, the King of Kings and LORD of Lords. He is the first and the last. He is beautiful, indescribable, and the One True God. He knows every hair on my head and there’s no turning back for me.

From A to Z be thankful for the M…

“Every good and perfect gift comes from above…” after 4 years God gave me a car

I waited… and waited…losing faith… ‘and suddenly’. A car and a job: This is the life that God built!

He doesn’t call the qualified, but qualifies the called.

I had a meltdown over soup and a rental car: “If you think you’ve messed up God’s plan; you, my friend, are not that powerful.”

‘As iron sharpens iron…’ When God suddenly brings a former friend back into your life

“Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” – Matthew 6:25-34
