NEW BLOG NAME: Tastybite=Beloved Oath of God

New blog. Who dis?

My life has drastically changed over the last few years. This blog went from a simple food blog idea to becoming a documented journey of my relationship with Jesus.

I’ve wanted to change the name of it for a long time because my long, drawn-out thoughts of spirit vs. flesh didn’t seem to match the sprinkled cake at the top. Neither did the name match “Tasty Bite”, but everything was either too cliche or never seemed to fit “Me”.

This afternoon, as I was typing up a blog post, inspiration struck:
I am a new creature, so my blog needed to be transformed as well.

I was texting a friend, trying to come up with something that would describe the change in me best, when I had an epiphany: my name!!!

Aimee Elizabeth means Beloved Oath of God.

I am a new creature, so my blog gets a new name as well.

This blog is now ‘Beloved Oath of God’, which was formerly known as Tastybite. The next plan is changing the main photos, but one step at a time.

“Chosen. Beloved. Hidden in Christ. Made in the image of the giver of Life. Righteous and Holy. Reborn and remade. Accepted and worthy. This is my new name.” – Jason Gray ‘I am new’

It’s amazing how the new birth creates a new life and perspective on life. I love the new name … but will well remember that God feeds us with tasty bites from His spiritually nourishing and eternally satisfying Word.

It wasn’t until my dad said he would miss “tastybite” that I half second-guessed my decision. ha

Thank you for your comment, it means a lot!! I am so thankful for my new life. 🙂
