When businesses find out such a tiny percent of the population is ‘woke’, the majority is sane.
Paypal wrote in their user agreement that they would fine users $2,500 for posting misinformation. The only way someone could post misinformation is if they can define correct information; we all know that is what the mainstream media and the 1% of the population deem correct. The company’s stock (PYPL NASDAQ) significantly jumped down when I nosily checked the market this morning. People are tired of the “woke” stuff and pulling their businesses from people who are shoving it down their throats.
I use PayPal for many things because it seems safer than giving websites my personal information. However, it’s a false sense of security. After all, this proves that businesses all over are run by corrupt people because people are corrupt. It’s a shame that companies are increasingly turning over with their brazen attempts to control people because they do not want to be shut down by the government or “canceled” by “authorities” with no morals. It’s all fun and games until cancel culture starts canceling you…
Hopefully, with enough pushback, companies realize they must let go of their pride and egos and understand they’re just as dispensable as anyone else. It will probably not end well for you when you threaten to steal your client’s money because they have their own thoughts and opinions. PayPal started back peddling when users started canceling their accounts and bringing their business to someone else
“Any misinformation would be penalized with a $2,500 fine. Basically, if a client is found guilty of four acts of misinformation, they could be fined $10,000. PayPal would withdraw this amount directly from the customer’s account.
“You are independently responsible for complying with all applicable laws in all of your actions related to your use of PayPal’s services, regardless of the purpose of the use,” the document, called “Acceptable Use of Policy,” said.
“Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy constitutes a violation of the PayPal User Agreement and may subject you to damages, including liquidated damages of 2,500.00 U.S. dollars per violation, which may be debited directly from your PayPal account(s),” the company added.
The leak of the documents has resulted in a massive outcry against PayPal on social networks. Some co-founders of the firm, like Elon Musk and David Marcus, were among the critics of this policy which goes “against everything” they “believe in.”

PayPal Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:PYPL) shares are trading lower Monday following reports the company could charge users $2,500 for spreading misinformation.
PayPal reportedly updated its acceptable use policy to include a clause noting that $2,500 could be “debited directly from your PayPal account” if users violate new rules related to prohibited activities.
Following backlash from users and outrage from the FinTwit community, PayPal said the policy change was an error.
“An AUP notice recently went out in error that included incorrect information. PayPal is not fining people for misinformation and this language was never intended to be inserted in our policy. Our teams are working to correct our policy pages. We’re sorry for the confusion this has caused,” a PayPal spokesperson said.

Whether you are for or against the Covid vaccine, it’s hard to believe things have gotten this far solely out of concern for our health. There are worldwide lockdowns and mandates.
